O mnie / About
Podczas moich warsztatów zachęcam do bycia rannym ptaszkiem, mocnej kawy , zmarzniętych stóp i odrobiny dyscypliny.
I was born in the middle of winter of 1981 which explains my longing for getting cold, difficult weather conditions, and thermal bottles with a lot of coffee.
I photographs mainly landscapes whilst on the road, ranging from places under the ground, the highest of mountains as well as the furthest parts of the universe. Even though he has won in 'Astro Camera' competition, he does not want to be classified as an astrophotographer. In my journey with photography I focus on multilayered landscapes, in which people in the foreground, mountains in the background as well as stars hundreds of thousand light-years away are equally important. Interaction and connections are the key to how I see the world and landscape photography, as a mountain is not an isolated entity but it exists within a chain of other mountains, on a planet which is a part of our Solar System and one of the arms of the Milky Way. No part of this jigsaw puzzle can exist separately but should be seen as different verses of the photography poems written with a camera.
As one of the Light Guides workshop leaders I encourage people taking first steps in photography to get outside their comfort zone of repetitive shots and dull light. During my workshops I encourage to being up with the lark, to drink a lot of strong coffee, to live with freezing feet, and a bit of discipline.
